Manual Resistance Techniques (MRT)
This technique is used primarily to relax overactive or shortened muscle and their connective tissues. This method uses manual resistance to patient’s isotonic or isometric contraction.

MRT is also useful in strengthening or training of a single muscle or group of muscles.
