Electrical Muscle Stimulation
Electrical stimulation uses low level electrical impulses to a single muscle or group of muscles causing contraction. Electrodes placed on the skin will deliver electrical impulses causing contraction and strengthening of the affected muscle. It also speeds up the healing process by increasing blood supply to the area caused by muscle contracture.
